The Columbia River Basin Chapter of the Project Management Institute is seeking projects for its 2015 Project of the Year Award competition.
Projects of any size, industry type and location within the Columbia River Basin region are eligible for the competition, and the company does not need to belong to the institute.
The award recognizes project teams and their companies for exemplary performance and project management for projects completed in 2014. Deadline to submit proposals is Feb. 5.
The top projects will be presented March 5. The winner will be announced during that event.
A previous winner of this competition, the Umatilla Chemical Agent Disposal Facility Operations Phase (2012) of Hermiston, Ore., won the institute’s worldwide competition.
Anyone who competes in the local chapter’s competition also can compete in the worldwide one.
