Two business workshops, “Government Contracting 101” and “GSA 101 – Multiple Award Schedules Program” are planned in early December in Kennewick.
“Government Contracting 101” runs from 9-10:30 a.m. Dec. 9 and will provide an overview of marketing and selling to federal, state and local government agencies. This class is offered on a quarterly basis and covers key topics such as registrations and certifications, locating government solicitations and government marketing strategies.
“GSA 101 – Multiple Award Schedules Program” runs from 1-3 p.m Dec. 10 and is intended to help local businesses grow by contracting with the United States General Services Administration, or GSA. Attendees will learn what evaluation criteria must be met, how to navigate through the schedule’s eLibrary and about the paperwork involved.
Washington Procurement Technical Assistance Center business counselor Ashley Coronado will present both classes.
The two workshops will be in the Bechtel Board Room at the Tri-Cities Business and Visitor Center, 7130 W. Grandridge Blvd. in Kennewick.
PTAC and the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce are sponosring the workshops.
