Dade Moeller human resources director Roshelle Pavlin will participate in the 2014 Volunteer Leaders’ Summit on Nov. 20-22 in Washington, D.C., at the invitation of the national Society for Human Resource Management. Pavlin will represent Dade Moeller, human resources professionals in Washington and the society during meetings with congressional staff to discuss public policy issues related to labor standards, fair pay, and safe workplaces. Pavlin will focus on the impact of pending legislation on federal contractors like Dade Moeller, which provides safety, radiological, and environmental support at several Hanford projects.
Pavlin later will become director-elect of the Washington State Human Resources Council in 2015, then director in 2016. She’ll succeed Richland human resources consulting firm owner Theresa Chow.
Pavlin is a certified senior professional in human resources and has been a member of the state council since 2011.
