Author and consultant Angela Wheeler will give a talk titled, "Confidence in Leadership" at Powerful Connections' annual fall luncheon from noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 19 at Meadow Springs Country Club, 700 Country Club Road in Richland.
Wheeler's presentation will address tactics and strategies to bring the female voice of business to light, while creating and navigating business relationships. Additionally, Powerful Connections will begin recruiting for its second coterie of mentor program participants.

Paul D. Casey of Growing Forward Services and chiropractor Chris Murphy of New Edge Wellness are presenting a professional growth seminar at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at Windermere Tri-Cities' office at 329 N. Kellogg St. facility in Kennewick.
