Port of Kennewick commissioners unanimously approved selling 144 acres of Finley agricultural land Tuesday to Kennewick Game Farm for $562,000.
The port had owned the land since the 1960s and had declared it surplus.
The 144 acres includes 15 parcels, which are not contiguous. Some of the property is north of Sandvik Special Metals and east of Piert Road and Highway 397. Some of the property is south and west of Highway 397 and west of Sandvik Special Metals. The remainder is near Piert and East Riek roads.
Kennewick Game Farm already farms in the Finley area and grows orchard grass hay and some alfalfa hay.
