-- Dorothy Hunter, of Paw's Natural Pet Emporium and Bizaccountability.com in Richland, has been named a finalist in the annual Pet Industry Woman of the Year Award competition. Hunter, who has been in business for six years, was nominated in the "Rising Star" category. The winner will be announced Aug. 15. The awards are designed to recognize amazing women who dedicate their time and talents to improving the lives of all pets -- dogs, cats, birds, fish, horses and exotics -- and their parents/guardians.

-- Esprit Graphic Communications in Kennewick has received an Award of Merit in the 2014 International Premier Print Awards. Esprit's staff produced an 18-month calendar featuring scenic photos of Washington and Oregon. Esprit will be recognized at the Premier Print Awards Gala next month in Chicago.
-- Jennifer Warner, Dade Moeller document control specialist, has been named vice president of the Columbia Basin Chapter of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators. Warner provides records administrative support to radiation dose reconstruction activities on the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health Dose Reconstruction Project. Warner has served on the chapter's board of directors for four years and as the membership chairwoman since 2011.
-- Jason L. Woehler has joined Evergreen Financial Services as associate general counsel and trial attorney. He has been in practice 16 years, with emphasis on commercial and consumer collection, contract litigation and probate and guardianship matters. He is a member of the Washington Bar Association, the American Bar Association and is admitted to multiple tribal courts in Washington. Woehler is a graduate of the University of Washington and Seattle University in 1997.
