J-U-B Engineers Inc. is celebrating 60 years of business in 2014. The firm originated in Nampa, Idaho, in 1954, when founders Sumner M. Johnson and Robert W. Underkofler formed a consulting engineering partnership.
J-U-B has been one of the leading consulting engineering firms in the Northwest and the Intermountain West. J-U-B employs nearly 300 people in 15 offices, the newest office opening last March in Idaho Falls. The company opened an office in Kennewick in 1977.
J-U-B provides engineering services to federal, state and local government agencies, as well as many leading industrial, commercial and institutional organizations.
"We are proud to celebrate 60 years of service," said Lee Cammack, J-U-B President and CEO. "We have been blessed by predecessors who built a business on a strong foundation of quality, service and ethics. These attributes have served us well, and we owe much of our success to those who created this culture."
