Injured workers in Washington, including those in the Tri-Cities, can choose from more than 20,000 healthcare providers in the Department of Labor & Industries medical network.
Injured workers can see any doctor for their first visit when a claim is filed, but can only see network providers for ongoing treatment. The network went live in 2013.
Workers can search for providers at www.FindADoc.Lni.wa.gov. The directory is updated daily.
"We have more than doubled the size of our network since it began," Vickie Kennedy, Labor & Industries' assistant director for Insurance Services, said in a statement. "Ready access to high-quality care helps our injured workers quickly return to good health and their jobs."
