-- Pam Lakman has been appointed manager of the Yakima Valley Visitor Information Center by the Yakima Valley Visitors & Convention Bureau.
Prior to joining the visitor center, Lakman worked for three years marketing Zillah Lakes as part of the Green Lite Marketing Group team.
She previously was owner of the Yellow Dog Gift Store and Event Center in Othello and worked in various retail operations. Born in Goldendale, she is a graduate of Washington State University.
-- Daniel Bradley has been picked as one of two Nuclear Regulatory Commission inspectors based at Energy Northwest's nuclear power plant near Richland.
He joins senior resident inspector Jeremy Groom. They serve as the agency's eyes and ears at the plant, conducting inspections and monitoring significant work projects.
Bradley has worked for the NRC since 2011 and previously served in the Navy's submarine force aboard the USS Texas.
-- Flo Sayre of Pasco, a managing broker with Farmers National Company, recently was named 2013 Land Broker of the Year in Washington.
The award is given each year to accredited land consultants who have served the real estate industry and their local community.
Sayre has been in the real estate business for 18 years and specializes in agricultural property.
She serves on the Tri-City Association of Realtors Education Committee, the National RLI Designation Committee, and is president of the Pacific NW RLI Chapter and director of the Edith Bishel Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired.
