Habitat for Humanity Tri-Cities is one of 250 finalists in Toyota's 100 Cars for Good program, which will award vehicles to 100 nonprofit organizations nationwide based on votes from the public.
Toyota's program will showcase five nonprofits each day for 50 days at 100carsforgood.com.
Habitat Tri-Cities is one of the five organizations highlighted for voting today, Nov. 8.
If Habitat Tri-Cities receives the most votes Nov. 8 and is awarded the Toyota Tundra, it will be used to serve as a work horse to transport materials, tools and needed supplies to home preservation projects and new construction sites.
Their current work vehicle is 20 years old, in the shop regularly and unable to handle the increased demand of the agency's combined programs.
