-- Dennis Ross of Prosser is Bleyhl Farm Service's new retail store division operations manager.
Ross joined the team Oct. 1 and will oversee business in Bleyhl's five retail stores and Water Systems. He will handle marketing, merchandising and customer service. His goal is to bring more consumer-oriented products to Bleyhl's stores in Pasco, Grandview, Sunnyside, Zillah and Toppenish.
Ross, an Idaho native, comes to Bleyhl from an extensive career in retail. He spent six years as vice president of retail operations for Aslin-Finch of Spokane, has owned two Montana farm stores and worked in upper management for the Frito Lay and Nalley Corp.

Bleyhl Farm Service is a local, farmer-owned co-operative offering a range of services in retail, petroleum and agronomy divisions. Established in 1964, it serves commercial farms and residential customers throughout Washington and Oregon. Company headquarters are in Grandview.
-- Scott Mason, a Washington River Protection Solutions procurement specialist, has completed the requirements to become a certified purchasing card professional. The credential defines the benchmark standard for professionals in the purchasing card industry. It is awarded to professionals who have the experience and knowledge to administer a purchase card program.
-- The Kiwanis Club of Pasco recently installed their new officers and board of directors for 2013-14.
The new officers are Craig Johnson, president, Ken Ballard, president elect, Mike Killian, vice president, Jesus Melendez, immediate past president, Elena Ramirez, secretary and Neva Corkrum, treasurer.
The new board of directors includes Dan Dotta, Dennis Maguire, Gerald Roach, Al Yenney, Darin Oman, Jack Slicks and Gracie Chimal-Valle.
-- The Kiwanis Club of the Horse Heaven Hills recently elected officers for the 2013-14 term. Carolyn Lawson is president, Karen Aanes is president elect, Chris Sivula is vice president, Richard Nordness is immediate past president and Doug Brown is secretary. The club meets at noon Mondays at Clover Island Inn in Kennewick.
