A seminar and displays on the work force needed across Washington state and regionally for the growing clean energy and tech industries is planned Oct. 17 in Pasco.
The Tri-Cities Research District and Columbia Basin College are sponsoring the event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the CBC Gjerde Center on the Pasco campus.
A panel discussion of new initiatives and technologies in the Mid-Columbia is planned with speakers from the Mid-Columbia Energy Initiative, Washington State University Tri-Cities, the HAMMER training center and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
An overview of the Pacific Northwest Center for Clean Energy will be given. Representatives from education, energy and the clean tech industry across the state plan displays.
