The first Tri-Cities Startup Weekend is Sept. 20-22 at Washington State University Tri-Cities' Consolidated Information Center in Richland.
The event includes team-oriented, entrepreneurial competitions that bring together local entrepreneurs, developers and designers.
Those who participate will get the chance to pitch ideas, brainstorm, create business plans and basic prototypes.
The cost is $75, except for students, who pay $49 with student ID.
