-- Focal Point Marketing in Kennewick recently received three ADDY awards from the American Advertising Federation for logo and color photography. It also received a CUNA award, three Aster awards and a Spectrum award.
-- Visiting Angels recently donated $20,000 and Banner Bank donated $10,000 to the Historic Downtown Kennewick Partnership. The money will assist the partnership in its revitalization efforts.
-- Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce recently was awarded a $64,000 grant by the Washington State Broadband Office of the Department of Commerce. The grant will allow the chamber to work with the Intelligent Community Forum, a think tank focusing on economic and social development strategies with broadband, through its Community Accelerator Program.
