The Washington Department of Labor & Industries is looking for health care organizations willing to sponsor Centers of Occupational Health and Education.
Washington has four of the centers, which work with medical providers, employers and injured workers to improve health care with work-related injuries and illnesses, according to a news release.
L&I funding supports health services coordinators at the centers who help with case management and getting appropriate services early in an injury claim.
L&I expects to select at least six sponsors for the centers. Current sponsors must reapply. Those interested must apply March 18. L&I will select the successful health care organizations by April 19.
