Discover how the quality and shape of the glass can affect the taste and aroma of the wine during a Feb. 5 seminar presented by the Washington Association of Wine Grape Growers.
The event, "Is it Really the Glass?" will run from 10 a.m. to noon at the Three Rivers Convention Center in Kennewick.
Joel Simon, Northwest regional manager, for Riedel Crystal will lead the comparative tasting that includes four different shapes of glasses with four Washington wines: Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Cost is $55 per person and attendees get to keep the four Riedel glasses used in the tasting.
Space is limited. Deadline to register is Thursday.
To register, go to www.wawgg.org and click on "register" and then "Riedel Tasting" at the bottom of the list of options.
