Cultivating Success, a partnership between Washington State University, the University of Idaho and the nonprofit Rural Roots, is offering a course on "Agricultural Entrepreneurship."
Participants will learn business planning, direct marketing and record-keeping skills.
They also will receive information about federal and state programs for small producers.
The course includes a variety of guest speakers, including bankers, accountants, attorneys and successful entrepreneurs.
The 12-week course will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays Jan. 23 through April 10. It will be in the Tri-Cities at a site to be determined.
Cost is $225.
