Learn how to do business at Hanford at the annual Bridging Partnerships Small Business Symposium organized by the Tri-City Development Council on Wednesday and Thursday at TRAC in Pasco.
A limited number of participants will tour Hanford and a welcome reception will be at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Thursday will start with registration at 7:30 a.m., followed by breakout sessions at 8:30 a.m. Topics include strategies for preparing a successful bid, teaming with other businesses, government contracting programs and the success small business Indian Eyes.
The keynote lunch speaker will by Mark "Hawk" Thomas, a Denver attorney, who will discuss "Top 10 Ways to Stay in the Black and Out of Jail." Bill Valdez, the acting director of the Department of Energy Office of Economic Impact and Diversity, also will speak.
