When you're in the mood for an old-fashioned chicken-fried steak, bacon and eggs or a soup and sandwich, drop in at Little Randy's Old Time Diner in Kennewick.
"It's just good wholesome food," said Randy Urbach. He and his wife, Sonia, opened the restaurant in early December.
It's named after their 3-year-old grandson, Randy Tinpzun, who lives with them in Pasco.
"This is Sonia's place. I just go in and help," Urbach said.
She has worked over 20 years in different restaurants including the Ranch House in Pasco and Crazy Mary's in Burbank.
"Now it's time for Sonia to have her own place," he said.
You'll meet her when you place your order. They only have one employee, a part-time cook.
Little Randy's is at 17 E. 1st Ave., Kennewick. Its hours are from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Call 586-8855.
