RICHLAND -- Washington State University Tri-Cities is offering the first of several "Start Smart" workshops designed to teach participants how to begin a successful business in Benton and Franklin counties.
The workshop, which is at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Richland Public Library, will focus on business basics and address start-up costs, licensing, taxes and marketing
This workshop will be repeated on the second Monday of each month. The next three workshops are scheduled for Sept. 12, Oct. 10 and Nov. 14.
