RICHLAND -- Juai Jao of the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory Project Controls Group will be the featured speaker at the May 17 meeting of the Rattlesnake Mountain Section of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International.
He will give an overview of the Pacific Northwest Smart Grid Demonstration Project and discuss the unique project management characteristics of the five-year, $178 million project.
The meeting will be at PNNL's ETB Building, Room 1103, at 3200 Q Ave., near Battelle Boulevard and George Washington Way in Richland. Doors open at 5 p.m. The meeting will start at 5:30 p.m.
