The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE), Tri-Cities Chapter 1192, will hold its monthly meeting Wednesday at the Kennewick Red Lion Hotel, Clearwater Room C. The doors open at 11:30 a.m., with a business meeting, lunch and program following at noon.
The program will be an update on the Umatilla Chemical Depot/Chemical Agent Disposal Facility.
Lt. Col. Kris Perkins, commander, Umatilla Chemical Depot, and Gary Anderson, program manager, Umatilla Chemical Agent Disposal Facility, will discuss weapons disposal and depot reuse. All current and retired federal employees, their spouses and/or annuitant survivors are invited.
