Charter has announced a new Ultra60 service, an enhanced high-speed, broadband internet service, is now available in the Tri-Cities, West Richland, Burbank and Benton and Franklin counties.
The new service runs at 60 megabytes per second (Mbps), enabling customers to download a 1.6 gigabyte movie approximately 20 faster than 3.0Mbps DSL service, said Frank Antonovich, vice president and general manager for Charter's operations in Washington.
"Not only are we delivering the fastest speed available in the area, our network also has the capacity to support even higher speeds as internet usage continues to evolve," he said.
Ultra60 comes with anti-virus, anti-spam, parental controls and more at no additional cost.
