The Columbia Basin & Blue Mountain chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management are sponsoring the conference from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at TRAC.
Jeanne McPherson, who has a doctorate in organizational communication, will present "The Ultimate HR Challenge: Facing Workplace Tensions Before They Disrupt Work" from 8 a.m. to noon.
Martin Valadez, vice president for diversity and outreach at Columbia Basin College, will discuss "Creating a Culture That Champions Diversity and Inclusion," from 1 to 5 p.m.

The full conference costs $100 for members of the association, $125 for others and $35 for students. Attending half of the conference costs $60 for members, $85 for others and $25 for students.
