A history professor will discuss whether there are lessons that could be learned from the Washington Public Power Supply System bond failure Oct. 19 in Richland.
Daniel Pope of the University of Oregon will speak at 7 p.m. at a meeting of the Eastern Washington Section of the American Nuclear Society at the Shilo Inn. He is the author of Nuclear Implosions: The Rise and Fall of the Washington Public Power Supply System.
