The Grant County Board of Commissioners is looking for volunteer county residents to serve on two advisory panels.
The Solid Waste Advisory Committee helps the commissioners develop programs and policies concerning solid waste handling and disposal. It meets three or four times a year.
The Civil Service Commission sets rules for operating the civil service system, tests job applicants and conducts investigations and prepares reports. It meets once a quarter, or more often if needed.
Anyone interested in serving on one of the committees is asked to submit a letter of interest to the commission at P.O. Box 37, Ephrata, 98823.
