Pasco police want to help business owners and managers be better prepared to stop or prevent crime.
The department is partnering with the Washington State Crime Prevention Association to bring a business crime prevention class to the Tri-Cities later this month.
The class, set for 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at TRAC in Pasco, costs $35 but the police agency is sponsoring up to 10 people to attend.
Some topics that will be discussed include armed robbery strategies for businesses, workplace violence, terrorism awareness, physical security for businesses, outsmarting investment fraud and retail theft prevention.
