Prosecution and defense attorneys address Judge Carrie Runge in Franklin County Superior Court July 21 where brothers Jaden F. Quintero and Nathan T. Quintero entered guilty pleas in related to the death of George Garcia Thacker. Nathan Quintero took responsibility for the shooting death with a first-degree manslaughter plea. Jaden Quintero’s plea was to first-degree rendering criminal assistance, a gross misdemeanor.
Authorities say a fire destroyed a dock and at least 20 boats recently at Highport Marina on Lake Texoma in Texas. A post on the marina's Facebook page says no one was injured. It wasn't immediately clear how the fire started.
