Program tries to help troubled marriages
RICHLAND -- Retrouvaille, a program to restore troubled marriages, is being offered in the Tri-Cities on Feb. 10-12 at the Richland Red Lion Motel.
Couples attend for the weekend to work on a new communication method for rediscovering each other and examining their lives together. It's Catholic-based, but open to people of all religions.
A nonrefundable $150 deposit is required. Additional costs depend on the number of participating couples, but is usually $400.

Pasco church offers weight-loss program
PASCO -- Faith Assembly Christian Center is offering Prism, a 24-week Christian weight-loss system beginning Jan. 9. Cost is $55 and includes weekly videos, a workbook and group support.

Book study looks at immigration responses
PASCO -- If interested in the Christian response to immigration issues, consider joining a seven-week book study on Welcoming the Stranger by Matthew Soerens and Jenny Hwang.
The first session will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 18 at The Collegium, 3525 E. A St., Pasco.
Soup and beverages will be served.
