RICHLAND -- Meadow Springs Presbyterian Church will hold a free three-part seminar on "Understanding Grief" on Feb. 28, March 6 and 13.
Sessions will be from 6:30-8 p.m. at the church, 325 Silver Meadows Drive, Richland.
The seminar will presented by Rev. Richard Nordgren. Topics will include the dynamics of loss, coping with grief and opening to the future.

It's About Life is focus of conference Feb. 25
KENNEWICK -- The Knights of Columbus is sponsoring an "It's About Life Conference" on Feb. 25 at St. Joseph's Parish in Kennewick.
Speakers will be Bishop Joseph Tyson of the Diocese of Yakima, Rev. Daniel Barnett, pastor at St. Patrick's Parish in Pasco, Austin Ruse, head of the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute, Cathy Clever Ruse, Family Research Council senior fellow of Legal Studies, and Diego Wendt, founder of 4US and Pierce County Citizen Soldier of the Year.
They will discuss today's challenges as they relate to family, marriage, procreation and the sanctity of life.
Christian vendors and organizations also will be on hand to share information.
The conference runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $25 per person, $40 per couple, $20 for seniors and youths and $180 for a table of eight.
