Tickets are on sale for Seattle’s annual Taste Washington, which is the nation’s largest single-region wine and food event.
The four-day event is March 26-29 at various venues throughout downtown Seattle. Activities include the signature Grand Tasting featuring more than 225 Washington wineries, and food from more than 70 top Northwest restaurants. There will be educational seminars on wine and cider led by the country’s top sommeliers and beverage writers. There also will be a Red & White Party, an upscale evening with the state’s celebrated wineries pouring special selections from large-format bottles.
Ticket start at $90 for a one-day general admission pass. Seminars, to be held at the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle, range from $38 to $89. Topics include Washington versus the World, a blind tasting of the state’s finest Bordeaux-blends against some of the best in the world, and an in-depth exploration into the wine-growing regions of the Columbia Gorge and Red Mountain.
Tickets to the exclusive Red & White Party are $175 each and can be bought at www.tastewashington.org.
