Frost Me Sweet Bakery & Bistro's Megan Savely, last year's "Best Chef on Parade" winner, will be defending her title during the Chefs on Parade event Sept. 11 and 12 in the Tri-Cities.
Almost a dozen area chefs will be showcasing their skills at several Parade homes during the two days.
Attendees also will be able to chat with homebuilders during the event sponsored by the Home Builders Association of the Tri-Cities.
This year's chefs include Adam Carr of Monterosso's Italian Restaurant, Andy Craig of Castle Catering, Darren Dewalt of Ice Harbor Brewing Company, Joshua Duquist of Tagaris Winery, Kristin Johnson of Mojave at Desert Wind, Justin Maltos of Fox and Bear Public House, Mike McGee of The Waterfront Bistro at Courtyard by Marriott, Felix Sanchez of El Fat Cat Grill, Will Willingham of Cousins Restaurant and yet-to-be-named chefs from The Country Gentleman and Northwest Sunset Culinary & Catering.
A limited number of tickets are available. Tickets are $40 and can be bought at www.hbatc.com. A regular Parade of Homes ticket is included with the purchase of a Chefs on Parade ticket.
