A zero-waste potluck and a living green information sharing event starts at 5:30 p.m. Friday in Richland’s Howard Amon Park, between the elephant slide and Richland Community Center.
Topics to be discussed include Confluence Community Action Network, Atomic Co-Op, CRE8 Community Resource Center and garden project, Solarize Mid-Columbia, Northwest coal export issues, genetically modified food and electric cars.
Tables for food and ice to keep salads safe will be provided. Take a dish to share, made with your favorite fresh summer ingredients, your own beverage, place setting, and chairs, or blankets to sit upon.
The potluck is sponsored by Confluence Community Action Network, Atomic Cooperative Market and E3 Washington leaders.
