My lymphoma was a somewhat rarer version of diffuse large B-cell, called B-cell rich T-cell, but this new research likely applies to my case, too.
In fact, research shows that 20 minutes in the sun each day can cut the risk of cancer by as much as 50 percent (this is for people with white skin; those with darker skin need more sunshine for the same effect). This sort of runs counter to what we hear about the risks of skin cancer, but I think that has more to do with people who spend hours on a beach.
