Maxine (Coleman) and Don Robertson of Sunnyside celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a trip in April to Nashville, Tenn., and they had an open house June 21 at their daughter's home in Grandview.
They were married June 18, 1954, in Grandview. They lived in Illinois for nine years before returning to make Sunnyside their home.
Maxine was a homemaker.
Don worked for Laclede Steel Co. in Illinois and then Flodins Manufacturing in Sunnyside. He retired in 1994 after 20 years at Hanford.

Maxine was in a coffee club in Outlook, a member of the garden club in Sunnyside, active in Girl Scouts and enjoys cross stitch and needlework.
Don was on a bowling team, coached T-ball for his kids in Outlook, was active with Cub and Boy Scouts and raised livestock.
They love the outdoors, and camping with family and friends.
They have seven children: Judy Robertson, Ron Robertson, Dave Robertson, Mike (Theresa) Robertson, all of Sunnyside; Terry (Kris) Robertson of Othello; Diane Robertson of Grandview; and the late Cherie Robertson.
They have 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
