Pete and Judy Schenk of Kennewick celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 7.
They were married March 30, 1962, in Denver. They moved here from Idaho in 1979.
Judy worked as a dental assistant, school secretary and has been the coordinator for a state agency, the Benton-Franklin Community Health and Safety Networks, for the past 15 years. She is a member of the Kennewick chapter of the Moose.
Pete worked as a heavy equipment driver for highway construction and at the Hanford nuclear construction site. He retired from Washington Teamsters in 2000.

They have two children, Peter (Chinatsu) Schenk of Seattle; and Suzanne (Rick) Torres of Midland, Pa. They have three grandchildren.
