Maureen and K. Dwaine Robinson, of Kennewick, celebrated their 50th anniversary Oct. 22 with a party hosted by their children at the Elks Lodge.
They were married Oct. 20, 1961 in the LDS church in Bellingham. They moved to the Mid-Columbia from Bothell in 1976.
Maureen worked for Benton County PUD for 27 years, retiring in 2005. She held many volunteer positions with the LDS church and was previously active with the Miss Tri-Cities Association. She made and donated afghans to the Kennewick General Hospital Guild for Hospice and Project Warmth.
After moving to the Tri-Cities, Dwaine managed the Pay-n-Save store in Pasco for 11 years. He worked in wholesale and then owned and operated a landscaping and maintenance business, Four Seasons Lawn Care, for 15 years. He retired in 2004. He is a member of CCA of Washington.

They are members of the LDS church, Hansen Park Ward and the Tri-City Caravaners.
They have four children, Scott (Lee) Robinson of Spokane Valley; Teri (Greg) Ferreira of Snohomish; Lori (Todd) Hardy of Richland; and Jamie (Roger) of Shew Placentia, Calif.
They have six grandchildren.
