HERMISTON -- Gordon and LaRee Treadwell of Hermiston celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner.
They met at Pasco High School and Gordon served in the Air Force before they were married Jan. 23, 1960, in Pasco. Gordon and LaRee lived in Kennewick before moving to Hermiston in 1977.
They own Hermiston Glass and each retired in 2000.
The couple's children and their son-in-law are Carol Treadwell of Pasco and John and Janet Miller of Springfield, Mo. They have one grandchild.

Robert and Wanda Dickenson
Robert and Wanda Dickenson of Kennewick will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house at the Mid-Columbia Library, 1620 S. Union St., Kennewick.
They were married Dec. 28, 1949, in Walla Walla.
Bob and his brothers formed a construction company and moved from job to job across the United States. In the early 1960s, Bob and Wanda moved from California to the Tri-Cities, where he began designing and building houses.
Bob served as a church deacon and volunteered at Franklin County jail. Later, he and Wanda founded Dayspring Prison and Jail Ministries, first at Deer Lodge, Mont. State Prison.
His ministry inside prisons began at Walla Walla State Penitentiary and soon branched out to McNeil Island Correction Center, Coyote Ridge Correction Center, Airway Heights Corrections Center and Oregon State prisons in Umatilla and Pendleton. They retired in 2007.
The couple's children are Christy and Dan Hill, Robert and Marilyn Dickenson, Richard Dickenson, Troy Dickenson, Kelly and Pattie Dickenson, Terry and Laura Dickenson, Tricia and Robert Pyke and Trina and David Gerg, all of Kennewick.
They have 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
