To deniers of climate change I say this: You are wrong. Just because we don't want to face the bad news doesn't mean the bad news is not incontrovertible. How long did it take for the flat-earth folks to settle down?
Anyway, let's suppose that global warming alarms are wrong, but we took the steps to save energy and waste less, yet still live well and create lots of green jobs. If we find better, cleaner, greener ways to do our business, aren't we better off?
And if the global warming warnings are true, we're on track to fix the mess. Let's get on with it. No nation will be able to meet the challenges of growing the economy and creating jobs in the 21st century without a serious investment in green technology.
Please Congress, support a strong federal investment in renewable energy and efforts to reduce energy waste.
