Bipartisan call suspect

Several letters recently seem to be supporters of the Democrats holding the majority of both houses of Congress and, obviously, the presidency. They all have a similar thread related to bipartisanship and the Republicans standing in the way of passage of "the health care" legislation being pushed by the administration and a large (but shrinking) number of the controlling majority party in both houses.

These letter writers are either forgetting or are glossing over the fact that the Democrats by their sheer numbers in Congress could pass this legislation with a party line vote. The call for bipartisanship seems to rise each time the Democrats need someone to share their blame when things go awry.

The congressional record will show those who research the subject just how many good, sound amendments the Republicans have put forth that the Democrats have shot down, thus demonstrating their own partisanship.

They don't need the Republicans to get out of the way because they can't even get their own people on board this Titanic of a bloated bill.

They want the Republicans to get on board so they can blame them for taking the life vests when this rust bucket sinks and the American public has to pay the rescue bill.
