W. Richland: Noski, Curtiss

West Richland voters have a golden opportunity to have a mayor who will work full time and also save more than a half-million taxpayer dollars during her first term of office (based on the proposed 2010 city budget).

Donna Noski is that person. Her work on the city council plus time working as the city administrator means she has the knowledge and experience to be effective starting her first day in office.

As full-time mayor, the city does not need an administrator because our administrator works at the direction of our mayor; thus the half-million-dollar savings in eliminating the administrator position.

Another golden opportunity for us is to elect Johan Curtiss as a council member. Johan has lived in West Richland for 20 years. She has served seven years on the city's economic development board and she attends park board, planning commission and council meetings. Johan is committed to managing growth such that we retain our rural lifestyle. With a Master's in business administration and her work in helping small businesses succeed, she will work to efficiently manage our resources.

Vote for Donna Noski and Johan Curtiss.

NEKI OWENS, West Richland
