KSD: Creek

Last week I received a political flier from Dawn Adams and Heather Kintzley, Kennewick School Board candidates. I became concerned and alarmed when I read their disparaging comments about two present school board members. It is not right or ethical for Ms. Adams to make derogatory comments about other current board members. She is working against Wendy London and Kathy White and is denigrating them to the voters of Kennewick, though neither White nor London is running for re-election at this time.

I am especially concerned about the speculation in this flier regarding Uby Creek's actions and the results of such action, had she been elected two years ago. This is complete fiction but is presented as fact. It is reprehensible that Adams and Kintzley would present information as though they were speaking truthfully when it is complete conjecture.

I know Uby Creek and I firmly believe she is an ethical, upstanding citizen who understands the needs of our diverse student population. She is broad-minded, and if elected will work toward what is best for all students. Because of her work in the Early Childhood Education Program, she understands the absolute necessity of early childhood programs and readiness for kindergarten.

Please join me in voting for Uby Creek.

KATHY STALY, Kennewick
