Kennewick port: Losey

I'm not usually one to write a letter to the editor, but I felt compelled to once I found out that Jeff Losey was a candidate for the Port of Kennewick commissioner position. I met Jeff when he became the executive officer of the Home Builders Association and have had the pleasure of working with him for the past several years.

Jeff will bring to the Port of Kennewick what he brought to the HBA -- emphasis on importance of small businesses in making an economy or organization successful. He will work to make the Port of Kennewick an ideal place to do business -- and that will benefit our entire community, whether you live in the Port District or not.

Jeff is an experienced leader -- he demonstrates that every single day. He has led our association through the best and the worst time and his main concern has always been the members. He'll do the same thing with the Port of Kennewick -- good or bad, Jeff will get through it with the voters and their needs as his main priority.

I urge you to vote for Jeff Losey for the Port of Kennewick commissioner race. You won't regret it.
