A Pasco woman following another vehicle too closely rear ended it and injured the driver, the Washington State Patrol reported.
Vanessa Y. Gomez Anceno, 21, was driving a 1996 Honda Civic with three passengers, including two toddlers, when she rear ended a 2006 Nissan Maxima that had slowed to make a left turn from Highway 26 to Road C Southeast, about 10 miles east of Royal City, the state patrol said.
The Nissan’s driver, Obdula Calderon Jimenzen, 38, of Royal City, was taken to Othello Community Hospital with unknown injuries.
His two passengers, an adult man and an 11-year-old boy, were uninjured, the state patrol said.
