A Public Art Walk is planned at 8:30 a.m. June 13 in Richland.
Members of the city’s arts and parks commissions will lead the three-mile easy-to-moderate walk in Howard Amon Park and downtown Richland.
“Learn about the past and join in the conversations that relate to the ‘story behind the piece.’ You will forever appreciate the historical meanings and share in the memories that help define our community,” a news release said. Walkers are advised to wear sunscreen, a hat and comfortable shoes and bring money for refreshments.
The walk takes off from the Richland Community Center, 500 Amon Park Drive, and will end about 10:30 a.m.
