The Kennewick Police Department is investigating the stabbing of three men Wednesday night at an apartment complex in the 1100 block of West 10th Avenue.
Kennewick officers and deputies from the Benton County Sheriff’s Office responded after receiving reports of a 8-10 males, one carrying a bat, chasing another male at the complex.
Two injured teen males, both with stab wounds, were initially discovered by officers arriving on the scene. A third 23-year old male also with stab wounds was later found at another location in the apartment complex.
All three were taken to Trios Southridge Hospital for treatment of numerous lacerations and stab wounds described as non-life threatening in a Kennewick police press release.
The initial investigation indicates that several males living in two separate units became involved in the altercation over an alleged unpaid debt. Police say the males are known to one another and the incident does not appear to be gang related.
