Grandview woman hurt in Prosser crash
A Grandview woman was injured Saturday morning when she pulled her truck out in front of another pickup on Highway 22 in Prosser.
Sharon M. Yost, 69, was taken to PMH Medical Center in Prosser for treatment following the 7:55 a.m. crash.
According to a Washington State Patrol report, Yost was southbound on Market Street stopped at a stop sign in her 1996 Dodge Ram when she turned onto Highway 22.
The truck pulled in front of an eastbound 1998 Ford F-250 driven by Efrain Godinez-Verduzco, 35, of Prosser. Godinez-Verduzco was not injured when his Ford collided with the Dodge, the state patrol said.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
Troopers said Yost was cited for failing to yield.
