The Grammy-winning Taj Mahal has dropped out of this weekend’s UnTapped Blues & Brews in Kennewick.
“Taj is extremely disappointed, but he has had to cancel his performance,” according to a statement on the UnTapped website. “He hopes to be able to make it back to the area in the future.”
The festival kicks off May 8 at Clover Island Inn and continues May 9 at the Benton County Fairgrounds.
The band Junkyard Jane has been added to the lineup. “We’re thrilled to be able to plug them in,” said Al Holman, live events manager for Townsquare Media, which is producing UnTapped Blues & Brews.
Never miss a local story.
The festival includes a packed lineup of bands, plus 35 breweries offering more than 70 beers.
