Appellation: Columbia Valley
This is a fitting tribute to the memory of founding winemaker Eric Dunham, who died during the 2014 harvest. This was the 17th Cabernet Sauvignon in his illustrious career. It opens with aromas of endearing notes of granite dust, black tea, black pepper, black currant and blackberry, followed by powerful flavors of ripe plum, black olive and slate. The tannins are firmly in balance through the memorable finish. This won a gold medal at the 2015 Great Northwest Wine Competition. (14.2 percent alcohol)
Cases produced: 1,860
Food pairings: Enjoy this rich red wine with leg of lamb, seared tri-tips or beef stew.
