A homeless Pasco man was hit by a pickup after he stepped off the curb and in front of the truck at the intersection of Lewis Street and Tenth Avenue in Pasco on Saturday night.
The 49-year-old man was highly intoxicated, said Pasco Police Sgt. Rodrigo Pruneda. The collision occurred around 10:11 p.m.
He was injured, but those injuries were nonlife-threatening, he said. He was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland for treatment.
The driver of the pickup has not been charged with any wrongdoing at this point, Pruneda said. The incident remains under investigation.
